The Junior Olympic (JO) program is designed to accommodate all athletes, regardless of their potential. The idea is to build a solid foundation of basic skills in order to advance safely. The program allows each gymnast to advance at their desired pace, while still allowing them to compete more than one level in a single calendar year.
The Junior Olympic Program is divided into three major segments:
Gymnasts must wear a leotard or biketard for practice. Gymnasts should not be coming to practice with 2 piece sets, t-shirt, tights and sports bras. Long hair should be put up in a bun or ponytail prior to practice. Please have your gymnasts bring their own bottles of water.
